PRC Development

Introduction

    The Council will be developing the PRC (Pre-cast Reinforced Concrete) homes in Sea Mills in the next few years.

     

More Information

    Issue 21 of the Community Voice contains a great deal of information about the proposed development.

    At the Open Meeting on 27 June 2006, a summary of recent activity was presented.

     

Sustainability

    The Building Research Establishment have published some useful information on eco-friendly homes: a description of the EcoHomes standard, and a more technical paper explaining the areas covered by the standard.

    Will any developments meet the EcoHomes standard, and will the council make use of combined heat and power to create a more energy-efficient housing stock?
